DH and I own 4 separate SVC points contract but all in the same club. We have only one membership number and use year. I have considered selling (or giving) my points. My question is whether I have to sell each contract individually or if I can sell all 4 together in one sale. i.e., does each contract have to have a separate title transfer or can all 4 contracts be grouped into one title transfer? Any insight or help with this question is greatly appreciated.

If they treat them like the Wyndham contracts, it will require four separate transfer fees regardless of how you sell it (i.e. individual contracts or a package of 2, 3 or 4).

You can sell them either together or separately.

Yes, each contract is a separate transfer.

Yes, each contract would be a separate set of fees .. the worst is the $299 Wyndham (Shell's new owner) transfer fee.

Most Shell contracts have the current owner GIVING them away AND paying most if not ALL, fees.

Yes, I got my Shell points for free ... my sibling collection has been migrating WEST for the last few years. I BRIBE them with fun vacations ... to get them all together in the same place despite their very intense & busy lives. Last March, I had them ALL in AZ at a Shell resort ...first time together in 8 years. The "HOLD OUT" was crying her eyes out about not making the time to be with us several prior "family" events ... which if I remember correctly were either funerals or other timeshare weeks I had hosted.

I was afraid this would be the process. Thanks Scott and Linda for the information. We lived on the grounds of Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix when we purchased the points and used the resort amenities and rooms on a regular basis. Since we moved to FL we really don't utilize the points.

Road trips to Shell resorts in Hawaii? For a MONTH?

Exchanges via II? There are a LOT of great II resorts.

Have stayed twice at the Legacy Resort in the last 2 years (I live in NJ) ... actually photographed a coyette under my 2nd floor unit on last trip ... took a photo. Plus my sister saw it too ... after I pointed it out. There was 2 of them .. but only got 1 in the picture.

You actually have to specify when you request transfer docs, otherwise they will want to transfer them all at once and send you one form with all of them on there. It's not $299 per contract it is something less than that, I was quoted like $250 for my three contracts. It's x amount for the first and a lesser amount for each one after that.

The other way they differ from Wyndham is that even though you might be able to pay monthly for the MF, when you transfer, the WHOLE year's MF must be paid prior to transfer for ALL accounts. So it is NOT like Wyndham where the new owner just takes over the monthly amount as soon as the account is transferred.

Thanks, Alexadeparis. I like the sound of this better. I will have to call Shell/Wyndham to get details. And then decide what to do. I do like Shell resorts but have never made any II exchanges so this is an option too.
