Wow, after many years of failures with II, I actually got a great agent who was able to combine my Marriott and Starwood accounts into one. That allowed my membership to be extended for another year for free and therefore I was allowed to deposit my Dec 2012 week into II no troubles. Then, she told me all about XYZ promo without me asking. And to be sure I was able to deposit the SVR week, she held on the phone while I went through the motions.

Amazing! Maybe their new system (and their agents) are really able to accomplish more. Now I finally have a week to play with again and no more multiple account bouncing back and forth! Yipeee.
