Old photos can be embarrassing

Last week a female friend texted a photo of me taken in early 1970’s. Another female was with me in the photo. She asked me if I remembered where the photo was taken. I responded with the wrong words (I told DaveNW) that I write the wrong things all the time. I wrote back that I didn’t remember location & could not remember the woman who was with me. Friend wrote back with location & and name. A few hours later, I see the same photo on FB & it was posted by the woman in the photo. She writes that someone forwarded her the photo & it was taken at specific tavern with her BFF geoand. Later in the day she texted me “You didn’t recognize me!!!” Hopefully, we are still close.

Where’s the photo, we want to see.

The Commander in Chief will show me a photo. We took many, many, many years ago and she will ask me, to tell her, what year? where were we? and on what cruise ship? She has a photo memory. I cannot remember; where I were one month ago on this date. This sometime can start WWIII, because I cannot remember LOL....

Then she will just start laughing at me.

Plus she can spell.

That photo was taken over fifty (50) years ago;, everything has change in the world IMHO. She needs to get a life.

Happens all the time to me. Wife says, "Don't you remember, I told you. . . . ". And of course, I don't. Just today, watching TV, there was a plane/car museum. She says, "We were there." I don't have that memory. Boy, I'm going to miss me. It's been a really interesting life. It would even be better to remember it.

OK, ETA: She 'fessed. We were at an air museum in McMinnville, Oregon, NOT Hood River where the TV show was filmed. So I'm NOT losing my marbles. WHEW! That was close!
