Hello-I signed to add a minimum of credits to our account to get into travelshare and then signed a recission paper with the one-site secretary 2 days later (Dec. 20). But I just found extra points (as promised) in our account! Would they have "lost" the recission or does it take time to get it recorded? I can't find the copy of the recission I signed-must have thrown it out with the Christmas rush. Any information would be helpful....

CONGRATULATIONS on buying more points !!! If you can't find the "rescission" letter (your copy), they can say that you never "did" rescind. Just hope that they "do" acknowledge that you did rescind. (I wouldn't trust the Wyndham management in anything they do---"my opinion" ---they will try to shaft the owners anyway they can !!!)

Wyndham will eventually discover their mistake and take the points out of your account. It might take a few weeks...it might take years.

Your best course of action is to call Owner services and discuss this issue with a representative to assure that this issue is resolved. The reason this is important to do, is because if there are any extra house keeping tokens involved, or points that are used...Wynham could charge you for them a year in the future, block your access to reservations..and not even bother to tell you why they did it.

I would call the on-site secretary and hope that s/he remembers your doing the recission and hopefully keeps a copy and is willing to make a copy for you. Then call Owner Services, who will probably refer you to another department.

Exact same thing happened to me, they will take them, if they are all in reservations, they will wait until your anniversary date, Worldmark is very nice not to cancel reservations.

ps thanks to all replies-I will follow up with owner services. I did call the salesman who said that the secretary with whom I filed the rescission told him that I had done so and that he would check on it-here's hoping!
