We have booked two 3-bdrm units at OLCC in October for a family reunion. I have received a note from OLCC that they will put us in two units side-by-side.

Does anyone know which area would probably have side-by-side 3-bdrm units? I am sure that the tennis villas 3-bdrms are at either end of the hall, not next door to each other.

Same way in the North Village. They are at opposite ends of the buildings. The one we hadin the East Village was also at the end of the building, but I didn'tknow to check where the others were because I didn't anticipate your question. :cool:

Hi Chris. 3br units at OL are on opposite ends of the buildings. If you are in the tennis villas, they evidently are placing you on the same end of the building, just a floor apart.

If it's the North Village, the 3br units are located on the ground floor only. In those units there will be a couple of units in between you, as the 3br units are at each end of the building.

The existing East Village 3br units are set up like the tennis villas, and they are on opposite ends, but several stories tall.

Chris;

As others have noted, the 3-bedroom units are not side-by-side. The 3-bedroom units in the North Village are the end units on the ground floor of the 6-plexes (4 units on the ground level, 2 on the second level) so there will be two units between the 2 3-bedroom units. Still very close. The East Village and Tennis Village (I believe also the hirise at Magnolia Court) have the 3-bedroom units at the end of the building on each floor. The hirise units don't have an internal hallway and so there are no other units across the hall from them. As Timetraveler pointed out, the best would be to have two units at the same end but one above the other; still that is not side-by-side. Tee units at River Island will have a hallway and units may be across the hall from each other but I wouldn't expect to be put in the River Island units. The closest thing to side-by-side that I can think of would be 2 3-bedroom units in the North Village in adjoining 6-plex complexes with the strip of grass between the units.

The only way the get adjoining units, then, would be the adjoining ends of adjoining buildings!

You could talk to each other from your lanais! :cool:

Hey Gary....that's right!! I forgot about the scenario of being placed in 2 separate 3br buildings. You would be side by side.....with just the small grassy area in between. :)

Also.....the highrises in the West Village on Southern Magnolia Court do not have any 3br units.
