Does anyone know what this unit code is for Ocean Pointe in II? DZZAA?
It's on my exchange confirmation so trying to figure out if it has any clue

Thanks.

You can find it here. Drop the initial D.

Oh wow, thanks!
That's an old list.
I'm surprised they still use the same codes.

I was able to do an exchange into Ocean Pointe in April for a 1BR. Code was for an oceanfront and that was what we were given. It was a pretty late exchange and I was happy to even get the exchange for Ocean Pointe. I used a guest certificate for my son and DIL and didn't tell them it was oceanfront as I wasn't sure they would get OF as I know the resort doesn't have to honor that. They were pleased and surprised that they had an oceanfront, and I was happy for them.

I have gotten "lucky" at OP with requesting "ocean front" in the Kingfish building but they call the intracoastal view OF which is fine with us.
I have Platinum Status with Bonvoy so that's what I try to use in requesting and most times it helps, especially in off season.
They have actually reassigned my room at check-in to the Kingfish building.
I imagine because it's the least desireable building but we actually prefer it.

At Oceana Palms they have always given me the room assignment on the exchange.
I haven't had much luck getting upgraded there but have had a few OF exchanges in the off season but at least in that resort
you have a view pretty much everywhere so it's not that big of a deal.
At OP I did once have a zero view of the parking lot on a lower floor and it wasn't nice so that's when I started requesting Kingfish building.

Kingfish definitely has its fans. Some people seem to love it and others seem to hate it.

I was there for July 4th week and I kid you not in the lobby waiting to checkin in and simultaneously there was one person complaining because they had been assigned to Kingfish and the person at the next counter complaining because they were in Pompano and only wanted Kingfish! And both were being told they could not be moved because the resort was sold out. (One person was checking into a studio unit and the other a full 2-bedroom so they couldn’t just swap.)

It was just comical to me at the time.

I can totally understand why people wouldn’t like it.
I have mobility issues now so I love that the resort is a resort within the resort.
Having the zero entry pool and the bar and restaurant all right there is perfect for us.
I really don’t go to the beach anymore unless it’s Marco island since the Atlantic is too deep of a drop off for me to get out of the water unassisted so it’s more about a nice view these days.
