Ocean Point/Hilton Head Trading

I am a new Marriott owner (not in the system yet) but was curious about Hilton Head exchanges. Can anyone comment on the feasibility of ....say an Ocean Point lock off (larger side, silver) trading into HHI for a sport season at ......let's say Monarch???? I would assume the entire OP unit would surely get the HHI unit!!!!!

Welcome to the Marriott family.

I can't can't really help on the trading advice, however I will add (for others) that Monarch's "sport season" is weeks 12-22 & 34-42.

Here on the Marriott board you will normally see seasons referred to as Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.... so here we are talking what equates to GOLD.

I have often found that there are Monarch weeks available Labor Day and after into October. Excellent location. Generally we like the place, but the last time we were the furniture in our unit was looking pretty shabby.

I would think an Ocean Point silver 1BR would be successful getting a 2BR unit in HHI in sport season. We got an April 2BR at Barony with a gold Grande Vista studio. We also got a 2BR at Ocean Watch in Myrtle Beach in April using a gold 1BR Harbour Lake.

OK........another scenario......has anyone traded a gold Ocean Pointe for a gold Hilton Head (Grande Ocean or Monarch)? If no one has actually done this........please comment on the feasibily of it (your opinion counts)
