Has anyone been? Looking to go this week and then again I'm July. How are the staff, facilities, pools and beaches looking during the pandemic?

Can't address Ocean Oak specifically, but we have been on HHI all Memorial Day weekend at our condo in Palmetto Dunes and the beaches are open and crowded, but at least in Palmetto Dunes, people seem to be respecting you space and not crowding you on the beach, keeping 6-10 feet of space minimum between groups. Not all restaurants are open, but many are, and retail stores are supposed to be enforcing occupancy limits, but some are being more attentive to that than others. We haven't eaten out when we've been on the island since the restaurants closed in March, but have done takeout/curbside at several places. General observation is HHI locals are more diligent at observing social distancing and using masks than tourists are.

We are at Ocean Oak this week. Everything has been cleared out of the lobby, the pool area has additional staff arranging pool chairs and wiping chairs/touch surfaces, the restaurant is scheduled to open on Thursday with limited menu, all of the staff are wearing masks and new CV-19 room cleaning routine. Other than that, everything seems normal.

btw, the grills are currently closed. I don't know when they will open. Also, all of the lawn games have been picked up;

What about the bike rack? Last time I was there it was overflowing. Seemed like more bikes than 1/occupant!
Same. still overflowing.

I will be there in two weeks. Think I will ask the manager if it was overflowing even with no guests there.
There is a couple of bike racks on the street side of phase II which always seem to have more availability.

I forgot the pool hours have been reduced to 8AM-8PM. The exercise room hours have also been reduced to 7am-11am in the morning and 3pm-7pm in the afternoon.
