My husband and I are planning on booking Ocean Blvd in Oct. there are 2 bedroom ocean views and 2 bedroom deluxe in towers 1,2, and 3. Any advice. Would prefer ocean front but I don’t see it?

We stayed in Tower 2, those ocean view rooms angle in such a way they all have some view of the ocean (the closer to the front of the building the better). When we could pick room numbers (with "do no moves") we took the front corners (ocean views) and those were nice, I don't think you have that level of specificity any more :-( Towards the back (streetside) the views are not going to be so good. I would take any ocean view over a deluxe that has no designation. Towers 1,2,and 3 are ocean side (of Ocean Boulevard). Tower 4 is on the other side of the street. I think Tower 4 has some ocean view designated rooms, but I would take T1, 2, or 3 given a choice. Tower 4 does have quite a bit of activity over there (in the pool area). If I had little kids going, I might choose it.

Tower 4 is across the street from towers 1, 2 & 3. There is no direct access to the beach without crossing the street and walking through or past the other towers.

I need to stress that the rooms further back toward the street side in tower 2 you REALLY have to go out on the balcony and turn your head hard to the right to see any ocean. I stayed in the second to the last (to the street) room, I think the number was xx36 and the view wasn't great, but I was able to get the room off season and upgraded from a 1BR deluxe (which is only in tower 2 I think) so the stay cost me very little. Regardless of if you get a decent view or not, all the rooms are nice and pretty spacious.

I like Ocean Blvd except for the parking. On average, I think the views are better in towers 1 and 3 though, unless you get one of the first few units towards the front, OR an Ocean Front room.

Have you thought about Wyndham Westwinds? Most units at Wyndham Westwinds are Oceanfront. The few that aren't are good Oceanview units. Westwinds was the first Fairfield/Wyndham resort in Myrtle Beach so the point value is fantastic.

We just did a 3 day trip to Westwinds a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. 2 Bedroom Oceanfront balcony, clean and comfortable, great beach. I'll definitely go back.
