WIN flies to HI out of OAK. I believe SFO was $250/pp? If so for a fam of 4 that's $1000. This will put pressure on other airports to offer the same or dramatically lower prices.

Alaska just cancelled my direct flight SJC to OGG in November. Maybe it's just too soon. :-(

I booked Hawaiian Airlines out of Oakland just because of the free Covid tests. lol I set up our Covid tests so we will fly into SFO a spend a couple of nights before flying out. It was very easy to set up the appointments.

I know. I turned down an Aulani match through RCI because of that price. But then a new deal popped up and the OAK/SFO thing offer. So I ended up paying $81 per ticket OAK-HNL. I normally fly for free but the negative Covid and the 72 hours threw a wrench into that.

I just don't want to stay in San Franscisco so I'm still working that logistic out. And I want to get that test at the 72 hour mark. When I first booked the tickets I signed up for the free Covid HI test. There was tons of availability. Now there is hardly anything. If Hawaii was a ship, it would sink with all of the mainland people going to HI.
