DW noticed a good deal on eBay yesterday but when we read through the ad there was a note that stated "Exchange affiliation membership IS NOT INCLUDED in the total price of this listing."
Here's our question, if we're already owners and our home resort already has an affiliation (ours is RCI) would we have a membership fee due to the/an exchange company if we purchased a contract that has no affiliation?

I know since we're already affiliated with RCI if we were to add additional contracts to that membership with Wyndham those contracts would also be RCI affiliated, but would there be additional fees due?

What I read here is that they are not including a membership to II or RCI, or some other exchange company. That would have to be arranged and paid for by the buyer. I think that if you already have a membership with a company that accepts this timeshare for exchange, you would not have to pay additional membership fees.

This has been my experience when I bought 2 additional timeshares. I just deposit them into my account exactly like the first timeshare. I have let my RCI membership lapse, but this was the case at the time I was a member.

Thanks Sue.

I should have said it was a Wyndham property (Pagosa Springs) so it too should have RCI affiliation, but we weren't sure about the fees.
There were other reasons why we didn't want to buy (lack of amount of feedback for the seller, seller stated they had right to refuse sale), but the affiliation question was the top of the list.

Not true with II

With II, if you buy a week at a resort affiliated with II, you must pay II a fee to have a new resort added to your II account. BUT they will often wave that fee if you extend your II membership.
