Has RCI removed all the Grand Pacific weeks from the system?
I've gotten accustomed to seeing the supply diminish every year, but this is the first time I've seen the system devoid of all GPR weeks.
There are no Carlsbad Inn units, SCC, SCBC, Seapointe, Coronado, not even for the off-season January-February weeks.
I own at the Carlsbad Inn and at the Seapointe, so I know I'm not getting a 1 in 4 filter.
Any ideas?

Some resorts don't allow you to post your exchanges until you pay Maintenence fees, wait til January you will see a lot more inventory

If you own there then just book bonus weeks in GPX, hurry there is a half price sale until the 24th.

I noticed yesterday that there were only one Seapointe week and some Marbrisa. A couple days before, Carlsbad Inn and Grand Pacific Palisades (many weeks) were on there.

I agree. I usually don't deposit my Seapointe week in GPX because I get a good amount of TPU's in RCI - enough for two or three weeks - but with the half price bonus weeks in Grand Pacific, it looks like a great alternative.

I booked a week for my dad at Kaanapali Beach Resort - the whole week in a one bedroom for $500. I need to start using GPX more often.

Btw, there are other Grand Pacific weeks in RCI, just not beach weeks. You can do a resort search using "Grand Pacific" to see the rest.

I wonder if they pull them back during the sale so they don't have a conflict with two people going after the same week.

One in RCI and one in GPX.

The half price sale doesn't apply to any of the soCal weeks. They started doing that a few promotions ago. They apply it to non soCal locations and with the inventory they get through their various arrangements.

Like you, I've been seeing very few weeks. They are usually depositing about 8 months out, up to May weeks. I remember seeing a couple very early June weeks and that was it. They don't deposit June/July/Aug or early Sept weeks anymore

Very interesting! FWIW, I see 7 GRP properties (752 available units) -- but the only SoCal property is Indio (68 available units).

I have a fixed summer week, odd years) at Grand Pacific Palisades -- but have not yet deposited the 2017 week. Can't decide what I want to do with it ... and have not been thrilled with the reduced value assigned to it in recent years by RCI.

A Grand Pacific Palisades 1BR summer week (late June 2016) showed up today.

Edited to add: It seems like the Resort photos shown by RCI have been updated. The key shot for this property used to be from the angle of the Flower Fields (and included the flower fields). No more -- the new keyshot is a weak image of a walkway ... not very descriptive. All photos appear to be updated. Perhaps the SoCal resorts are each going through a period of "updating the RCI info" which has caused them to appear off-line for a period?

There were many weeks deposited a couple days ago posted in the sightings. Most were already snatched up by this morning.

Ah, thanks for that. I generally browse TUG w/out benefit of login thus don't monitor the Sightings board.
