No center seat on Alaska Air

I made some reservations for next winter and all the center seats are not being used. Kind of nice !

Southwest is currently advertising this. Since they don't have assigned seating there message is they will only sell enough tickets to fill the window and isle seats, so when you board just pick a window or isle. But, family units can fill the middle if they desire.

Well better than American. Just took a flight from PHX to SJC packed like sardines but please social distance while in line.

Frontier advertised the same thing, so they booked our grandson and granddaughter on middle and aisle seats, and then Frontier sold the middle seat to an adult. Our daughter was NOT happy. Frontier is the worst airline imaginable.

I recently Booked some Alaskan Tickets for September. When I got to Seat Selection all the center seats were "Xed" out.

We booked our flights back to Belize at the end of Dec. with WestJet two weeks ago and all the center seats were X'd off as well. If we are able to go, it will be nice for DH & I to use 3 seats between the 2 of us -maybe I will get to use an armrest on that flight!

I noticed that as well, but the websight says that they will not be selling center seats until July. so, I am thinking that all of those seats for alter flights will become available. I have to book 10 tickets back from Maui for January, and I actually want to use those center seats. So I am waiting to book them just to see. Of course, if I don't GET a return flight, that would just suck (sarcasm)..

This was my thought too...they may be X'ed out now, but at some point airlines are likely to want to start selling those seats, and if the flight is far enough in the future, this could change. At least, I am not assuming it can't.

That what I saw too. I called and was told the middle seats were not for sale. I hope it stays that way.
