We recently received an e m ail from Hyatt if we want to relinquish our timeshare. Basically they will take the timeshare off your hands at no cost to you. But you basically are giving them your timeshare for free. Also they said it could take 120days or more. No guarantees.

very few timeshares offer legitimate "buy backs", vs the ability to surrender your ownership back if its paid off.

heck many of them now charge hundreds if not thousands of dollars to surrender it back!

@TUGBrian is correct. This is likely a scam.

If you are even 1/4 thinking about this offer to be clear, do this:
  1. check the actual email address (click on the From tab). Is it from the same address as your other Hyatt stuff? ; AND
  2. call Hyatt ownership directly with the number you have (or you look up). Do not use the # the email provides. Can they confirm the offer, or put you through to someone who can?
AND IF IT ALL CHECKS OUT

If it is real: List it on TUG Free Timeshares , and give it back to the community (or donate it to Hyatt to resell). Your choice.

Some Pinon Point weeks have value. What week do you own, what size unit, and is it annual or eoy?
