Just want to say a prayer for all those being affected by this huge line of storms from Oklahoma thru Kansas, Nebraska, and into Iowa. It sounds like the worst could come overnight which is the worst time for it to happen. I know I will probably not get much sleep tonight.

Thoughts of keeping you and yours safe through the night . . . and to everyone else in the line of these nasty storms!

Luckily, I don't believe any lives were lost here in Iowa, but there were in other places. I would take earthquakes and hurricanes any day over tornadoes. There is just no warning most of the time and they are non discriminating.

It is very tragic the lives lost due to nature. However, earthquakes and hurricanes are also non-discriminating. Earthquakes give no warning. At least these current storms were predicted and people were given a warning a day before they occured.
