Nicest 1brs in Williamsburg?

For an upcoming trip to Williamsburg, we will be fine with a 1br. But the 1brs we've had on previous trips have been cramped or dark. Do any resorts in RCI have very nice 1brs--bright and spacious? Ideally a place where ALL the 1brs are nice, not just the 1brs in one section. Thanks!

Suggestion only maybe Powhatan Resort which is a DRI Resort or King's
Creek Plantation or even Wyndham Kingsgate that exchange with RCI.

If you look for the 1 BRs with the full kitchen you are more likely (but not always) to get dedicated 1 BR, rather than a lockoff portion of a larger unit. One of the problems with using an exchange company when a resort has different types of the same size unit, is that is difficult to know what you are going to get unless the occupancy, kitchen or bathroom privacy is different.

Right, that's the problem. We own at King's Creek, and the 1brs in the Cottages are small and have only partial kitchens. I think the 1brs at the Townes and the Estates might be bigger and have full kitchens. But good suggestion to look for full kitchen. Thanks!

Please check The Marriott's Manor Club; The Sequel Section. They are 2 bedrooms lockout villas and they are very nice. At one time this section exchange with II & RCI.

You could end up with the full 1 bedroom unit with the full kitchen, foyer, dining room area , living room area, with a King size bed in the master bedroom and with a full size master bathroom.

I do not know their current status with RCI.

There have been some older marriotts that can exchange through rci but I didn't think Manor club ever did.

Alas, I've never seen any Williamsburg Marriotts in RCI.
