I'm deciding between Club Wyndham Newport Onshore or Club Wyndham Long Wharf in Newport, RI.

Has anyone been to both to compare?

I've been to Newport a few years ago, but only for three days.

Are the mansions open in November?

Thank you!

We prefer the Inn on Long Wharf as it is just the two of us. The view is priceless. Some inconvenience there though no oven, no dishwasher, kitchen sink is a bar sink. For us the view makes up for the inconviences. Oh the laundry is outside your unit.
We don’t care for Long Wharf as the view is nonexistent. However our children and grandchildren stay there we we are at the Inn
Last Christmas we all stayed at a three bedroom at Ondhore. Great view there but I didn’t the close parking spaces.

I agree. We have stayed at the Inn on Long Wharf, Inn on the Harbor and Onshore. The view from Inn on Long Wharf is spectacular. Especially in the summer when the roof top is open. We loved going up every night at sunset with a cocktail or glass of wine. Met some of the nicest people. The bar sink was ridiculously small. Made it tough to wash dishes. And the door from the hall opens into the bedroom. But the huge window overlooking the harbor outweighed any negatives. Check out the lobster shack nearby for fantastic full lobster dinners you can take back to your room or eat on picnic tables.
I think the Breakers is open pretty much year round. We have gone up in December to see the mansions decorated for the Holidays.
We love Newport any time of year! Enjoy!
