What I like about HGVC...
They treat resale buyers very well, almost as if you were a retail buyer.
They only benefit you don't get is having it count toward elite status.
Elite starts at 14K points, and elites here say it's not worth retail cost.
Otherwise, you get the eggsact same benefits... use of the club, RCI, etc.
Also: Resorts are uniformly high quality, well-staffed w-lots of amenities.
I picked up 5000 points at an "affiliate" (voluntary) for cost of transfer.
If interested in pursuing a HGVC resale purchase, look at these brokers:
