I'm looking at a resale listing for Hilton Vacation Club Sedona Summit. Now, as I understand it, this property is part of the HVC (the new DRI resorts). If I purchase this, would I have access to points of any kind within the system? If so, how would that work?

Don't pay too much, someone is giving away Sedona Summit here on Tug.
I'm not certain on HVC rules but you won't get HGVC points. I think that DRI restriction on resale limited you to the resorts in the same collection, Sedona is part of the Hawaii collection?

If you are purchasing a resale deed at a specific resort, not points in a trust collection, I believe you don’t have access to any points based transactions. You own your week at your resort and that’s it. You can exchange that week Interval International, DEX (the e change DRI set up for weeks owners) or maybe RCI (don’t know if they are listed in RCI yet).
