Hello... today we received the ROFR waiver and closing documents...they will be faxed back tomorrow along with a wire transfer.

Can anyone share how long the process will take after that and when I might be able to book our first vacation? We would like to CO or UT in December, which from what I've read (and think I understand), needs to be booked on March 1.

Is this possible or are we not being realistic? I've heard it takes 4-6 weeks for the deed to be recorded but after they get all the paperwork, they could load us in the system in as quickly as two weeks.

Any information is greatly appreciated...thanks much!

ps....along with our points for 2016, there are restricted bank points on our estoppel from '15....I am assuming those won't belong to us....thoughts??

I signed and funded on Dec 18th, deed was recorded Dec 31st. I'm still waiting for Hilton to process the deed and have the points show up in my account, I already own and have account set up. They are not very fast considering I paid $399 transfer fee plus $535 activation fee.

The 2015 points may be lost unless the previous owner paid to rescue them into 2016 before Dec 31st.

Thanks....That's a bit disappointing to hear...I thought once the deed was recorded one was "good to go" as long as an account was set up....or are you not able to set up an account until Hilton processes it?

I'm not sure what the previous owner did with their points...just saw it on the estoppel and wondered.

Appreciate the response...good luck.

Update, the contract is added to my account this morning and the new points are available to book. Two weeks from deed recording date, about 10 days after escrow closed.

If you call HGVC they should be able to give you the new account info so you can log in to the online account, without having to wait for them to mail you the info. RCI access takes another couple of weeks after.
