Newbie here - can I list our timeshare for sale and also list it for rent and modify the ad if it's rented out for this year?

It's our wish to sell our timeshare, but can I list it for rent as well, and see which one goes through first? I figure it would be better to at least get the money back for the year vs getting nothing and then trying to sell it next year.

Is there a way to see which timeshare rentals have rented and which ones have sold? I can't find that info anywhere! Would like to see what people are listing them for and it's so hard to find! Thanks for your help!!

Yes, you can. Check redweek.com for Comps. Look at what's actually rented - not just asking prices, because some asking prices are completely unrealistic, and that's why they haven't rented.

How can I find what actually rented on Redweek? I didn’t see a way to get that information.

Thanks - I did see that. The only thing I'm wondering is when these were sold. There is no date listed. It could have sold 10 years ago or yesterday. Anyway to find that out? Thank you!!

I have placed ads for rent, exchange and for sale on TUG, some successful some not. Never used Redweek,So can’t advise on that.
