Hi,

I'm thinking of visiting the South Island of New Zealand in February or March

I noticed the average daytime temp was in high 60 degrees with the humidity above 70%

Many of the non timeshare B&B's have no AC

Has the humidity been an issue for anyone?

thanks

don

It's been a long time since we were last there (2002). The first time we went - 1998 was super warm for NZ but we didn't have any issues with the heat. I don't recall humidity being a particular issue. In 2002 on the South Island it was their wettest year in ages and heat was definitely not an issue.

If you visit Milford Sound (which you should) you want it to be raining. You will see hundreds of waterfalls.
