I asked the other day what would be your response to seeing someone spraying cans labeled, "COVID-19" in a crowded airport concourse and got zero answers. Seriously, anybody! - what would be your response?? In the past pandemics were treated seriously - even if morality or politics or whatever was a component of the discussion - such that there's absolutely no doubt if the same questions had been posed during other pandemics with cans labeled "EBOLA" or "HIV-AIDS" or "CHOLERA" or whatever, the overwhelming majority would be horrified and would want the authorities to be given the power to stop it.

We have lost all decency if the overwhelming majority can't now agree on the basic simple premise that we hurt only ourselves if we allow a pandemic to spread.

Hopefully more people will get vaccinated

Latest studies clearly show that vaccinated people carry and can transmit the virus as well. Are they "cans labelled Covid 19" as well?

What if, theoretically speaking, new studies reveal that in the extremely rare cases of reinfections, they carry less virus than than those with breakthrough infections? Would you promote a super health card for them, granting them better rights than those of the vaccinated individuals? Why not a special class of citizens, especially since many worked essential jobs when others were hiding under the bed?

Maybe, but that's just random fantasyland.

Brian Linder, a cyber threat-prevention expert, said negative COVID-19 tests and vaccine cards are blowing up on the dark web.

"In the dark web, $25 gets you a negative COVID-19 test, and $200 gets you what looks like an authentic CDC vaccine card," Linder said.

Currently, there is not a federal system to authenticate the vaccination cards, which can make it easy for counterfeiters.

Someone actually found a government agency that had a link to a pdf with the official CDC vaccine card, for use by health officials to print on card stick. The link was visible and available for public download, as verified by many people (not me of course.)

It's ironic that the people that are screaming the loudest about their "freedom" and their "values" do not hesitate to visit the dark web to counterfeit vaccine cards because they want to go out and have fun. How is that demonstrating morals and good values? :ponder:

Latest studies and statistics show that vaccinated people are the least likely to suffer severe illness and death from either initial or subsequent bouts of the virus. So effectively, those spraying either cans labeled "COVID-19" or germs carrying COVID-19 would impact the unvaccinated more. Considering that a large number of the unvaccinated appear to suffer no responsibility to protect others both vaccinated and unvaccinated - including and especially those for whom vaccination is medically contraindicated and those who are not yet eligible - from the risks posed by the unvaccinated, the question is the same: should people spraying the virus all over creation by whatever method be allowed free rein to do as they choose against the experts' guidance?

We have enough trouble trying to convince people to work at solving our horrible reality; let's deal with the hypotheticals when/if they happen. Let's also stop engaging in fantastical derision by claiming that reasonable people are hiding under their beds. Yes, with COVID-19 came extreme reactions from some who suffer anxiety - but that's not nearly the majority of people who are following expert guidance, and anyway it's not nice to deride people who suffer legitimate mental health concerns.

"95% of the severe patients are vaccinated".
"85-90% of the hospitalizations are in Fully vaccinated people."
"We are opening more and more COVID wards."
"The effectiveness of the vaccine is waning/fading out"

.

More than 99.99% of people fully vaccinated against Covid-19 have not had a breakthrough case resulting in hospitalization or death, according to the latest data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The data highlights what leading health experts across the country have highlighted for months: Covid-19 vaccines are very effective at preventing serious illness and death from Covid-19 and are the country's best shot at slowing the pandemic down and avoiding further suffering.
The CDC reported 6,587 Covid-19 breakthrough cases as of July 26, including 6,239 hospitalizations and 1,263 deaths. At that time, more than 163 million people in the United States were fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Divide those severe breakthrough cases by the total fully vaccinated population for the result: less than 0.004% of fully vaccinated people had a breakthrough case that led to hospitalization and less than 0.001% of fully vaccinated people died from a breakthrough Covid-19 case.

The CDC director said that the passive systems awfully under-report the breakthrough cases but the media continues to quote them as if they were true

And DannyTS posted a great study in another thread showing that the unvaccinated shed much higher viral loads than the vaccinated.
