New Twist on XYZ 2 for 1

Just learned that II now has limits on some destinations on the size unit you can get under the XYZ 2 for 1 program. I tried to use an exchange that used a 1 BR unit for an XYZ back into Shadow Ridge in May. Palm Desert is on the grid for May, and 1br units are available, but they will only let you get a studio. Rep told me even if I had used a 2BR for original exchange, the best he could give me is a studio in Palm Desert.

Lake Tahoe appears to be less restrictive. A friend of mine got an XYZ into a 2 BR at Timberlodge with the original unit bring a studio!

Looks like the program is becoming more restrictive since more people know about it. Still a good deal. I got a studio and no exchange fee as it us included with DC membership.

I was told the same for Palm Springs, mid 2011, so not sure this is a new feature.
