NEW to TUG

So I just signed up about a week ago and am trying to help my family with our maintenance fees. We are wyndham owners and just became Platinum. whoop whooop lol. So first question is do the 25 ads renew calendar year or the day I signed up a year from then?

Second question is, I am trying to find other places to find more people in need of renting. I looked at the market place and it only seemed like there were not that many people looking to rent. Is that just because of the current times? Or is there a better place to look. I dont know how other time shares work but I have access to many resorts and can book anywhere but there is not really anywhere I can express that on the classified ads. It says you need a specific place.

My guess is that there are not a lot of renters right now, but, I honestly have not looked into the market for a while.

Didn't the Wyndham timeshare salesperson tell you that you cannot rent to others? My understanding is that new sales are told that you cannot rent your points to anyone. Keep it in the family. That is what I understood by talking to someone at Wyndham. We were told to rent our points, but the powers that be do not like it.

Does anyone know how long it takes a classified ad to post? I put one in several days ago and was hoping to hear back sooner rather than later.
