First off, we have 8,000 Bluegreen points, not much to work with and I don't know how it will convert with RCI, but my husband and I are looking for a place near Clearwater/Madiera/Treasure Island area.

I am not able to find reviews on many of the places. If you have any recommendations, I would love to hear about them.

Also, what is the difference between Oceanfront and Oceanview????

Thanks!

Ocean front vs. ocean view - my understanding of the terms

With an ocean front unit, you have a direct view of the ocean; there should be very little impeding your view of the ocean and your window is probably parallel to the shoreline.

With ocean view, you can see the ocean, but the view may be impeded by trees, buildings, signage and/or the view may be at an angle or from a distance.

What to bring to a timeshare

We have learned to bring a few selected spices in a baggy or if liquid, an old RX. bottle. (they are spill proof) That way one does not have to go buy something and only use it once or twice. Also the used baggy helps for left overs.
