Colorado could use all the snow it can get. I've been at Breckenridge this week, and the ski conditions are fair at best. Definitely need more base.

We could sure use some more snow here. Without it, next summer will be hot, dry, fiery, and with expensive electricity.

One of my managers mentioned in our staff meeting this week that the snow was disappointing on his recent ski vacation. Don't recall exactly where he went if he mentioned it.

South Bay region of California could sure use some rain. We are in the shadow of the Santa Cruz Mountains so when Nor Cal gets rain it normally barely gets passed S.F. in any amount except many times it drops some in the mountains around us.
Then there is also the snow pack which is low and has been for several years. We need to fill our resorvoirs now and have the snow melt from the Sierras to refill. We get teased with rain but nothing yet this year that has amounted to much.

We're getting pounded here in San Diego with the first of several big storms. It's about time.

We had a tremendous thunderstorm here in Mesquite, Nevada, last night (Friday.) Not sure of the track of this storm above, but this one was really severe. Pretty powerful storm. This morning dawned clear and sunny, and everything was very calm. So maybe this one has moved on.

By this morning we had 9" just north of O'Hare in Chicagoland. Glad I wasn't flying over the weekend!
