I have 2 Wyndham deeds, a fixed week converted to points and a points contract. They are both in my name and my late wife's name. I recently got remarried, can I have my new wife's name added to my account without changing any deeds?

No, you'll have to have new deeds recorded (and pay the Wyndham transfer fees).

Don't know your age ... or other life facts ... but does it matter to YOUR current wife if you own this timeshare with your late wife's name on the deed?

I know some older couples tend to keep things separate because they have their separate grown children issues ... "that was MY mother's and I want THAT when you pass" problems.

But if you and your NEW wife need to explore whether SHE wants this burden when you pass on (and can afford it when you are gone), if it is REALLY necessary for her name to be on the paperwork (with those costs), etc.

If you want her added to your Member Number, buy a resale deed with BOTH your names on it... and add it to YOUR member number. Suggest you let her decide on where (which resort) or CWA points ... it will be her's "til the end of time" (as in "By the light of the dash board lights" song).

PS I would get a CWA deed with enough points to USE it for ARP at some of the resorts YOU both would enjoy.

Thanks what I was thinking about doing, the name on the account is not an issue. I'm more concerned with usage and guest certificates if I don't go on trips. I am thinking about buying a small points package with her name and my two grown kids names on it so they will all have access without a guest certificate. Thanks for the information.
