After reading the very positive feedback for this resort, I just purchased a yearly 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom week 23 (June 5-12) at this resort on Ebay for $297. My plan is to use it every 2nd or 3rd year, and to try to rent it out the other years. This resort appears to be booked all the time so I am hoping that it will be easy to rent. I saw that some other Tuggers owned at this resort, and am wondering if you could comment on the rentability of this week at this resort. I realize that the busiest weeks are at the end of June through the end of August, but I am hoping that some renters will like to beat the crowds when the weather should still be fairly good. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve

As Rapmarks stated, you got a great deal! Should be good using and exchanging. Is it a unit on the lake or in the woods?

It didn't say where the unit was exactly. Hopefully I will find out soon. Steve

I just saw that it is unit 1402 with a "garden view", so I am guessing it is in the woods instead of on the lake.

does it start on a Friday or Saturday?

A lot of units have a huge lawn, leading to the lakes.
I loved it there, but on one trade, the lawn was filled with geese honking and doing thier business. If you went out the front, the crickets were singing It got quite noisy! :p

It's a Friday to Friday week. I grew up in Wisconsin so I went to Door County a lot, but I have never been to the Rushes. My wife is very excited to go there as she has never been to that area.

If you got 1402 then you are on the Lake in a very nice location, You do not have a large lawn between you and the lake.

Congrats on a very good buy. Your ownership misses the $300 nightly rate by a couple of weeks. I think you are at $200 per night. I think $999 (or a bit more) per week might work if you rent it out by your selves

We own a week 26 in unit 2002 and have rented it out for the past 3 years by our selves and last year rented it out $1,499 for the week to another Rushes owner. Our unit is a "Woods" unit 2002 which we like seeing we live on a lake.

But we paid a lot more than you did. We have traded back in to the Rushes for May 29, 2009 in unit # 2402.

I can send you a Rushes unit location layout as a email attachment if you send me a email. Our email address is judybruce@wi.rr.com

I think they put out the boats the week before your week.

Bruce :D

I own an offweek in that unit 1402 and it is a lake front unit and is close to the lake rather than across the field from the lake.

I was going to bid on that but didn't snipe it and forgot to get back to it. Good buy.
