We were tricked into going to update yesterday (we should know better). We were told Wyndham is coming out with new computer program end of this month to make the website better because they have "listened" to comments from owners. Meeting is one hour to learn how to navigate the new system. The gift was to be a $75 card which it was not, the $75 can be used only at a limited number of businesses and we are supposed to receive a code number by email to use when we checkout at these specific businesses. Most of these businesses we seldom use.

In the presentation They were trying to tell all how great Wyndham is, then talked (vaguely) about the new Travel-up and Sidekick programs that open up end of this month. Travel up is supposedly to get better prices on car rentals, cruises, air-fare, etc. and Sidekick is fpr discounts in restaurants, stores, and services. I believe the sales people don't have full details on it yet.

Also speaker who spoke 30 minutes to the group, said they have purchased Travel Leisure Magazine Co. because that company has 3400 destinations that they rent and soon we will be able to go to those places with our points.
This was a mis-representation (as always) and a waste of our time.

Sidekick is old; it used to be Perks.

TravelUp is so new there aren’t really enough details to use it as a basis for a purchase decision, but that doesn’t stop Wyndham from trying.

The Travelup gimmick is another way to daze and confuse owners into buying more points.
