So I got ( resale) 168k eoy even years. Deeded somewhere in Orlando
If I get points in January how am I supposed to credit pool into 2017 if it needs to be done before January??
And if I get my points in January am I really going to get that summer vacation booked ? Being out only 6 months from when I get points.
Am I missing something?

You will be able to credit pool the points before Jan 1

You have to pool before your use year begins, so you would need to do so by December 31st, 2015. Those points will then be good for three years.

Depending on where you want to go next summer, and in what size unit, you may or may not have availablity.

Thanks all
ok so I'll be able to credit pool the points before the January issue date. if I want to use them in 2017 instead of trying to get a room in the 2016 summer.
We like Daytona in June after school gets out, I don't know if available will be there only 6 months out? You'd think with all those rooms there would be plenty

First you need your transfer to be complete, and then get access to your online account. Hopefully this will be completed before Dec 31.

Once points show up on your online account, you're able to credit pool them. But it's usually best to wait until as late as possible before the deadline so that you extend the use out nearly 3 years from the date you credit pool them. The exception being if you want to credit pool future points so that you can use them now. Wyndham will show you up to 2 years of future points in your account, and let you credit pool those points.

Even though your points become "available" January 1, you are able to make reservations 10 months out (13 months at your home resort). So you can see your points and make reservations for those points in advance. If you wanted to make a Jan 1 reservation, you would be able to do it beginning the March before. It will probably make more sense once you can view your account online. Until then, you should really read the online directory. http://pages.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/wyndham/plus_membersdirectory1415/offline/wyndham_plus_membersdirectory1415.pdf

So you now understand that you can credit pool your 2016 points as long as you do so before jan 1 2016

You should know that after jan 1 2016 and before jan 1 2018 you will be able to credit pool your your 2018 points

Regarding Daytona; its a big place but a lot of it is wholy owned condos and some of it is in Worldmark and never forget that there are over 500000 club Wyndham owners and a lot of us like to do a beach vacation in the summer. Plan accordingly

Make sure you keep on top of what's happening with your contract. I called the deed transfer dept. and had my membership number and on line access WEEKS before I recieved anything in the mail. Had to harrass customer care a little to get RCI access also. Again, it was set up several weeks before I got anything in the mail. They were very polite and helpful with everything.
