Hi everyone! I just found out that our purchase at Cypress Harbour has passed ROFR. We are working on closing right now.
I would love to be able to book somewhere for next year's Spring Break. Can anyone offer suggestions on how best to get the time we are looking for at such a late date? I've been reading these boards for quite some time now but am still a little intimidated by the whole booking/trading process.
I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks!
Theresa

First you have to find out if the previous owner has already booked a week for 2009. If not contact them and ask them to try to reserve that week for you. Dont be surprised though if that week is already completely booked. Big demand weeks (such as spring week at some resorts) go quickly and you pretty much must reserve 12 months out to the day to get them. But I would give it a try anyway. You might also have a couple of alternatives in mind to provide them with.

Spring Break needs to be booked right at the 12 month window, so it's probably not going to work as Chris stated. Never hurts to try though. Also, keep you eyes open for getaways during your time. If you strike out this year, you'll know better for next year!
