I know many people tend to visit New Orleans during the fall months to attend many of the festivals (most of which have been cancelled). The State of Louisiana is under a mask mandate but the City of New Orleans has more restrictive Covid requirements.
All indoor dining, bar and entertainment facilities will require not only a mask but proof of at least one Covid vaccine injection or a negative PCR test within 72 hours of entry into the facility. Yes, this means if you are not vaccinated and staying at least five days you will need to get another negative PCR test while in New Orleans if you plan on doing just about anything. Be sure and be prepared prior to travel to the Big Easy.
