Anyone know if there are any timeshares in New Orleans, during Mardi Gras, that are on any of the parade routes? Interested in finding one to stay at, or possibly buy, but I need to know what to look for.

Thanks, yes I'm aware the hurricane recently hit New Orleans and the other areas south of New Orleans such as Raceland, Mathews, Thibodaux, and Houma. I actually grew up in Mathews, LA, which was directly hit. However, that is not related to my question.

Let me try to give you the information you actually asked for. There are several timeshares on Parade routes or very close to those routes. Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza is on St.Charles in the garden district. I have found a lot of my guests prefer that resort for both Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest. The resort has a viewing balcony and a rooftop. Only banded guests are allowed to enter the property during MG. Also Club Wyndham La Belle Maison 2 blocks from the quarter. I own both of these resorts, but have never stayed during Mardi Gras. My guests do tell me they had great views of parades from their windows at La Belle.
Club Le Pension-French Quarter
QuarterHouse-French Quarter
Hotel De La Vie I’m sure the spelling is wrong on this. Located downtown within walking distance of Quarter.
Plaza Suites Hotel same street as Harrahs within walking distance of Quarter. We stayed here during Halloween in 2019 and really liked it. A bit older, but still nice and kept up to date.
There are a few others both inside and outside the Quarter. Read the Tug reviews Before you made your decision.

If they have a room with a window that looks out to the street. Several have windows that just look at the interior/hallway. I thought it was very weird when we stayed in one there. It made the unit feel very dark and closed in.

Hurricane Ida hit all of NOLA and surrounding parishes very hard. All eight of the transmission towers bringing electricity to the city were downed (literally) by the winds, and it's expected to take weeks if not months to bring power back on line. Not much flooding (which was the problem after Katrina) but without power the sewer system has difficulty functioning, and of course there's no AC anywhere. There was some wind damage including collapsed buildings in the city but the worst was south and west of the city. I don't know anything about actual damage to the TS resorts or how soon they can get up and running once power is restored.
