I'm looking... :D But there are so many out there it's hard to pick, and there are not any reviews that I can find that speak from a photographers pov. I do need to be able to calibrate it, and , of course, it's for digital photo manipulation. I don't need speakers. but if the right monitor has them, I wouldn't mind. I'm thinking 24" this time, and have been looking at this NEC . I'd like to keep it below $1000.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanx,
Ron

I purchased the HP w2408h monitor in August, and absolutely love it. It is 1920x1200 native res. I'm not sure what kind of calibration you require, but I could check mine if you needed. It does have built-in speakers, but they are not very good, IMO.

Price is great ($379 at newegg), but since I am not a photographer, I really don't know if this would meet your needs. Just wanted to share my experience.
