I have found there is a significant issue with the system and the way points are restored from cancelled reservations.

If you called in to make reservations from your credit pool (i.e., you had a Vacation Counselor use the "point stacker" to pull from the credit pool instead of regular use year points) - the points will NOT automatically go back into the credit pool when you cancel that reservation, but instead will act like "points without a home" and go to the current regular use year.

I cancelled and rebooked about 5M in December reservations using credit pooled points on September 30, to make sure I would not have points expiring at the end of December. Apparently I am now going to have to manually call in each time to get them placed back into the credit pool appropriately, when I thought I had already done that.

Just letting everyone know in case this might impact them also.

What a pain. I'm sure when i cancel anything that used credit pooled points that I'll have a VC do it. Thanks for the heads up.

My recommendation is that you give away some points to lighten the burden
