In February starwood announced new inventory would be coming. Westin Los Cabos and Westin cancun were mentioned . Are they talking about taking over club Regina in Los cabos? Are they going to add on to Westin lagunamar or convert the Westin resort and spa?

I believe the plan is to eventually convert the hotels into timeshare properties - Westin Resort & Spa Cancun and Westin Los Cabos. Since this this will take quite a bit of renovation, I wouldn't expect to see this new inventory for several years. I'm not sure I like the location of those properties. The Westin Cancun (not Lagunamar) is at the end of the hotel zone and is a bus ride or taxi to anything really, although it is a nice hotel. The Westin Los Cabos is on the highway in between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. You are miles from anything there. You'd have to flag the bus down or call a taxi.

As far as adding on to Westin Lagunamar, there is no more room to add, that property is complete.
