I have received my 2009 II resort directory and it has all the Disney resorts in it. Does that mean they will continue to trade with II?

No, it just means the II directory went to press months ago before this new agreement with RCI was hatched.

You have to love II's sales tactics! I have an ongoing request for DVC in their system. They called my wife yesterday and said, We do not have a match yet for you, but how about adding THREE years to your contract with us?, no mention that after December 31st there is ZERO chance of getting my request.

It just makes me laugh.:hysterical:

They get a commission if you do extend. I believe they also get a commission if they are able to match your request or take another option. One of the II people who called me to see how they could "help" me told me as much.

Lately I have had a nightly call from II (see on caller ID)...as soon as I answer they hang up. I suspect I am autodialed and then the rep who should be picking up the call realizes I am not accepting other than a DVC property so hangs up. Or it could be that Calif has stricter autodial laws and require that a person be immediately available on the calling side...and not there the autodialer hang up. Anyone else with this experience?

I keep telling II that I will only accept a Disney property exchange for my Marriott Newport Coast week, but still they call. And, yes, I know about the RCI taking over for II for future DVC reservations. I'm going to hang on for as long as I can.
