I own at Seaworld and Bay Club, with two separate HGVC member numbers. I can access the new website with my Seaworld member number, but not with my Bay Club member number. I can access the old website with both numbers. Is anyone who owns at an affiliate having a similar problem -- can't access the new webiste with their affiliate account number?

I have informed HGVC of the problem and they said it was because the Bay Club is not yet put into the new website. I, however, am not confident that answer is correct.

I am in the exact same position. I own seaworld and Bay Club. I also have an Elite membership, but it only sits on my Seaworld account not on my Bay Club account.

I only use my Seaworld account for all of my booking transactions. I only use my Bay Club to pay by MFs and look up any documentations they may have posted about the HOA.

I call HGVC when I pay my Bay Club fees (as they must be paid before you can use them, not like other HGVCs that you can borrow without prepaying, as long as you are in good standing). I get HGVC to move all my Bay Club points into my Seaworld account. Now I have all my points in one account, which is what I access most often.

Are you booking reservation out of two accounts? What happens when you have points left in each account and you need to combine them to make another booking? Do you have HGVC merge your points into one account? If not you should try it.

I can't get into the new site either with my Bay Club week either, but I can get to the exisiting site and get in. When you log on when the page comes up with the ticket looking thing on it, if you scroll down there is a link at the bottom of the page that says do you want the existing site.

Just spoke with HGVC. Was able to transfer my Bay Club points into Seaworld account. Still can't get into Bay Club account with new website. The story is still that they are working on the new website and haven't yet integrated the Bay Club account into it. I was told to try again on Monday. We will see.

Bay Club has some different rules hence a different account. Those rules probably have to be coded into the new online system, hence the delay.

Like I said I only ever book with the 1 account anyway. It is so much easier with all your point in one account anyway. Glad you can get access to all your points.

Sorry if it is a bit techie. :D

I don't think they built over the old site. The new site is a completely redesigned and re-coded from the ground up. Most likely using MS SharePoint coding to build a front end that connects to the backend database (since SharePoint is a MS product, the suggested database is MS SQL). Depending on the backend database; they may have to migrate it to a new database. HGVC has to be very careful about the migration because it could be a real mess if accounts were lost.
