40 days seems ok.Here is my timeline so far for two Elara deeds:
6 DEC - purchased resale
6 JAN - passes ROFR
15 JAN - deeds recorded
"15 JAN - deeds recorded"So can you make bookings from Jan 15?
? ETA"15 JAN - deeds recorded"

No.
HGVC needs to get a copy of the recorded deed.
Then they transfer it on their records (if the fee is paid).
Then they bill an activation fee, and when paid, set it up.
You can call to get a member # or wait for welcome kit.

R u existing hgvc member? Getting points online in 10 daysDeed recorded and sent to Hilton 1/7, points available in online account on 1/16.
Yep, my contract number also changed, HGVC told me that is normal and were able to see the link from the old contract number to the new one.I called today and the representative found my account, and I was able to log in. Is it normal for the contract number to change from what is recorded on the deed to what is on the new member account? I ask because my contract numbers do not match. While the specific units are correct, the estoppel had all of the 2024 points saved into 2025 and the saved points are not in the new account. Also, the 2025 maintenance fees were past due, however, it shows I owe no fees. On the one hand, the no saved points but no maintenance fees feels like a wash (I’m not unhappy with that part of the equation)… however, I don’t want there to be a problem down the road where the ownership comes into question because the contract number on the deed does not match the contract number in the account.
Thank you for the info!Yep, my contract number also changed, HGVC told me that is normal and were able to see the link from the old contract number to the new one.
I had the same issue with the saved points not transferring over. The closing company sent over an addendum to the sales agreement which stated that the 2024 saved points are included in the transaction for me to sign. They then sent over the addendum to HGVC and I got the saved points in my account.
I have heard that MFs can take up to 30 days to show up in the new account.
I think that will be a problem, so I would call the club to see what is going on. I think that someone didn't set up your account properly. My last resale had saved points which were transferred when it was added to the account. As for the 2025 MFs, I expect you to get a bill in a month or so.the estoppel had all of the 2024 points saved into 2025 and the saved points are not in the new account.
Definitely follow this advice. My experience has been that mf, club dues, and activation fees can be 1 to 2 months later. They always get thier money. Lol. Was irritating due to making me miss an amex credit cuttoff.Yep, my contract number also changed, HGVC told me that is normal and were able to see the link from the old contract number to the new one.
