I didn't know ANY Marriott Facebook pages existed, but I think Quilter is talking about the brand new one that's an official Marriott page. They sent out an email invite last week that I think might be linked to the email list for those Insider newsletters. Search Facebook for "Marriott Vacation Club" and you'll probably find it. Since this is an official page and not one started by members, I'd guess that Marriott is going to be selectively deleting stuff that they don't like. It looks like mostly fluff to me.
Hi Quilter! Do you mean that every resort now has a page? I can't figure out (a) why if I go to the MVC page it says in the left column that I "like" Marriott Grande Vista where I don't own!, and (b) how to find my resorts' pages if they exist. Just what we need, another confusing Marriott web page!
So I played around a little bit and found my resort pages on Facebook. Just do a search when you're logged in for "Marriott's [your resort name] - it looks like every resort does have its own page. Not sure how much content Marriott will allow to stand on these official pages but I'm guessing it'll be heavily censored if owners try to start an anti-Marriott uprising. Could be good for the kind of stuff TUG does very well, though - local restaurant and activity info, refurb schedules, room views, etc ...
