New benefits for elite owners only?

I am wondering if anyone has heard anything about "new benefits for elite owners only that were announced just last week..." (MVC was mentioned as involved in the benefits). This was a call trying to get me into a virtual MS Teams owner update. Yes, I do know they will say anything to get you into an "owner update" (aka sales presentation). I also know not to trust anything that is not in writing. I am just wondering if anyone has heard of any REAL changes. A condensed copy of the follow-up email is copied below. Thanks.

As a valued Owner with us you have the option to have an insider’s look into what we have been doing during the pandemic with Sheraton Vacation Club. This is brand new to all of us, we are hosting a virtual webinar presentation for our owners. It is a short hour with an Owner Advisor, from the comfort of your home. You will need access to one of the following devices: Smartphone (Android or Apple iPhone), Desktop computer, Laptop computer or iPad as the virtual update will be via Microsoft Teams.

Looks like a solicitation for Sheraton Flex points. That's all Sheraton is selling now. Haven't heard anything new. They usually send out official communications and emails when there are new benefits.

Sounds like sales speak to me! But you never know, they may "surprise and delight" you!

Absolutely agree. I guess the sales people have not had enough "marks" in person so now they are trying virtual sales. I also noticed that club updates was fourth on the list (of priorities). Sometimes information is revealed here weeks or months before the official announcement arrives so I thought I would check with the best sources I know. If I can call OS (during their reduced hours) I will see if I can learn anything. If I do, I will follow up here.

Nothing new. We are scheduled for an "owners update" tomorrow for 30K Bonvoy at SVV. They keep asking me and we keep going, fifth update this year with Vistana! I like to help out the staff in the VIP lounge by signing up, but the sales staff doesn't like us so much...:LOL:
