Got ours too but I also haven't had any time to look at it - seemed a bit "thinner" than past editions.

I received two copies for some reason last week...I did note that in the back it still lists which weeks are red, yellow and green for each resort even though the only thing online now is the Travel demand index.

Considering I do all my vacation planning online and all the info in the book is in the online Resort Directory, I really don't see the benefit of being mailed a phone book sized version of same. I haven't even looked at mine the past few years. Is there anything additional info in the book that isn't online? I wish we could save some trees (and maybe some green? say, $10-25 off your yearly II membership) and forgo the book.

Doorbell rang while I was typing this. Guess what was in my mailbox too!

"Select" and "Premier" resorts not identified

We received our new catalog a couple days ago. The main difference I noticed is that this year the "Select" and "Premier" resorts are not identified. We own a Premier rated resort, so in the past our book indicated which resorts had this rating.

On page 16 of the book, it says the ratings are available on the IntervalWorld website.

We had ours on Wed! I don't remember last years book showing Select or Premier because when book was finished II was still checking out resorts.

If I remember right only place was on-line to II site to see ratings.

The seasons are in the book and not on line. I think those are important to points system people - at least they are to Worldmark. I wonder if they are in all the books or do they have the seasons just for points members?

I wish the seasons are on line also.

If anybody wants mind, let me know and I'll mail it to them. I just did some cleaning last weekend and threw out my old one - it was still in the original wrapper. Send me a PM with contact details and I'll pop it out next week. Bear in mind it might take a bit with Christmas and it's coming from Canada.

I agree that it would be nice to be able to opt out of some of this stuff that I never read and are paying for.

I haven't opened my II dream book in years. It reminds me of the old Sears "Wish Book", which is what they called it, and it was a Christmas catalog, with all the great toys in it that my parents couldn't afford. I was constantly disappointed a the prospects of all those toys and no hopes of getting what I wanted. This has been my similar experience with II, before TUG. :D

Now I have my supertraders and way too many of them to use. :D I am selling some of the weeks now, in hopes of saving a little cash at this time of year, when maintenance fees are due. We take about 7 weeks a year, but we have enough weeks to get about 18 weeks per year. I rented out some of my weeks last year. I think I need to do that again.

We got ours and I do not like the fact that they are not listing the select and premier ratings of the resorts--and there may be other info they have removed that I didn't notice yet. Of course, as a TUG member it's not hard to find out how others really feel about resorts!!!:whoopie:
