We will be spending 7 nights at this resort in May, 09. We are not exchanging into it. It was a private auction that I won. I read the review from Feb. 08 on the TUG Reviews, I also read all the reviews on Tripadvisor. Seems that almost every one of the ones on Tripadvisor speak of how clean the place was with the exception of one. I know it is an older resort but that is not a problem as long as it is clean. Does anyone have any other info on this resort?

I have set up airport transfer with JUTA a tourist bus system is this the best way to get to and from Montego Bay to Negril? We are not renting a car.

I'll be loking forward to hearing your input when you get back. I have a week booked in November 09. Like you, I read all the reviews I could get my hands on. I also e-mailed an owner here on TUG. Basically she said it is an older place, but is kept nice and clean. A lot of nice people there, many that return every year. Great location, great beach. So I decided to keep the trade. That will be week one of our trip and week two is at Half Moon. :)

Do you know for sure that the resort does not provide (or offer) a shuttle? Some people prefer a quick plane ride to Negril, but I never opted for that. The van ride from MoBay to Negril is a great experience in itself.:)

I wil post a review and photos when we get back. As for a shuttle provided by the resort, under the resort stuff it says there is a car rental agency close by as well as plenty of taxis's so I don't think they do, but I will call and ask, its worth a phone call. The shuttle by JUTA is $36 US per person round trip, which is pretty cheap.

Hopefully someone else wil post sone additional info.

I will be spending a week in Negril Feb10-17. I am not staying there but up the hill from the beach. I will try to check the place out and post for you.

Thank you, Betty. I would really appreciate that. We don't care if the resort is an older one, just that the units are clean and bug free. Hubby is recovering from chemo for lymphoma cancer and this will be our first trip since he became sick last year. That's why clean is so very important.
