Looking to fax a 10 page document from home but I don't have a fax machine.

Search of online fax services brings up a myriad of choices but which one to trust?

Appreciate recommendations, TIA!

I think they allow 10 free pages to a new customer; after that it's pay-as-you-go.

Beware services that allow a free 30-day trial and charge monthly fixed fees after that--they can be difficult to cancel.

I've also gone to Office Depot. I suspect that Staples also offers a similar service.

Just a point of perspective - - you can buy a printer/scanner/fax machine for $50.

I use Fax Zero, but it is 3 pages per day. You can use a word doc or pdf, and then link that file, and it faxes that document to the receiving number.
I am not certain if you can use multiple emails or "phone numbers" to "send from" to get all 10 pages done. Have never tried it.

BJR: we have a printer/scanner/fax, but no longer have a land line.

We too have a printer/scanner/fax that we bought several years ago but could never get the fax to work over our VOIP landline. We gave up the landline last year so were interested to learn about Fax Plus and Fax Zero for the rare times we have to fax now instead of emailing. And next time we need a new printer we won’t have to pay for fax capability!

Who faxes stuff anymore?
We just scan docs as needed, save 'em as a PDF, and attach to email.
I've sent legal docs to complete mortgage applications that way.

But you need a scanner to do that.

But you need a scanner to do that.

The last document I scanned was with my phone. I took a picture and attached it to an email. I could have used our scanner but taking the picture was easier, imo.

A year or so ago when I had to fax a 20 page document I took it to my local UPS store. Although they charge by the page they discounted it significantly for me...

There are also apps (I use scannable) that make this really easy. They convert multiple page documents into good quality PDFs which can then be saved as a file and sent to anyone or even a printer via wifi.

Not helpful to this exact question, but our local library offers inexpensive fax service.
