What have you decided to do especially
when you don`t have travel insurance ?

Should Timeshare Resorts offer any type of assistance to their timeshare
owners & guests should the Coronavirus/CoVid 19 spread to their area ?

Will resorts offer another week (if available) to use later or
will owners deposit their week with an exchange company
hoping to get something - instead of not going & losing $
they paid the resort for their week (annual maintenance fee)

Do you think that Timeshare Resorts & Hotels should add additional staff
to better clean and disinfect their timeshare units, hotel rooms, lobby, office,
business centers and recreation areas during the current health issue ?

I don’t expect relief from any timeshare. Whether we go or not the bills at the timeshare still have to be paid.

I contacted vistana because I’m due to arrive in three weeks. I was told nothing is in place yet but if bans happen they would most likely have a plan such as waive cancellation fees and take away restrictions on points.

With HGV we can postpone our week by redepositing and banking the points to next year without any special rules. We also have summer reservations for BI and Maui which we are still planning to keep as we think the virus will die down over summer. Can postpone if needed.

More concerned about airlines because have United and Alaska for April which we may not be able to cancel. Love Southwest for Hawaii and future reservations - cancel anytime. Very simple.
