Hi all - Have never been and always wanted to go to WSJ. Since we own elsewhere, it has been difficult to book with SO’s at the time we want to go so we have decided to try and rent next year. Since we will be paying hard dollars, want to be sure we get the location best suited to us. What phase or building should we be asking for if we want the following:
-prefer one bedroom but studio will work
-must have balcony with a view of the water
-no interest in the pool as we have one at home
-don’t mind a walk to parking
-will spend most of our time at the beach, snorkeling or sightseeing

what do you all advise we ask for in location at the resort?

The only 1Bd are in VGV (Hillside) phase.

Lots of studios throughout.

Personally - if your days are at the beach and you rent a car (like us) - I recommend the VGV phase as you can park outside your unit and be gone fast (or going to store) - in/out quick. We can get from B34 to Trunk Bay in 17 minutes, to Maho in 20mins.
Starfish Market in 5min...

The VGV (Hillside) will offer view of water - and has BBQ area pool/patio area between the buildings.

You are going to want a pool...
evening time especially.

The view is great from pool area. And has lounging area.
