We don't use RCI (only II) so we have little knowledge of them, but we do have a bone to pick with them over one of their internal companies (1 World Travel). We are talking about RCI, the timeshare trading company, not Royal Caribbean International (also RCI). We'd like to know what RCI stands for and where their corporate headquarters is so we can file a BBB complaint. We'd appreciate any help.

Well, here and here are links for everything you want to know about RCI. The info is readily available at RCI.com

But are you sure you have the correct name for "1 World Travel"? A Google search for that name turns up only an insurance company with a slightly different name that I don't believe is directly related by ownership to RCI. 1 World Travel Insurance is essentially a travel insurance broker and doesn't issue its own policies. It does broker transactions for RCI customers, but any beef would likely be with the insurance company that issued the policy, not with 1 World Travel Insurance.

Actually, I think he would go here. Group RCI is a division of Wyndham Worldwide. The link is to the corporate page. Like Dave, I cannot find any direct link between RCI and 1 Worldwide Insurance. (If you click on the links under Group RCI, you can find what RCI actually owns.)

Thanks for the info. we attended a sales promotion for a company called 1 World Travel. We were told it was a division of RCI that sold travel packages to ONLY Sun City homeowners. They go to each of the Sun Cities throughout the US. Obviously they have determined that those of us in Sun City are an easy mark. We attended one of the presentations at the Hampton Inn just outside Sun City Hilton Head in Bluffton, SC. As a gift for attending the 90 minute presentation we were to get $50 cast and $100 in gas. We got the cash, but to get the $100 in gas we had to deal with a company called Gas Up America, and that has turned out to be a scam. You send in the paperwork and get or hear nothing from them. RCI has now turned a deaf ear to conplaints, so I figured the BBB was next up.
