I can exchange thru Platinum for a Studio unit for 4 at Lifetime in Oahu for the dates I need next Nov. to match up to my two weeks on the Big Island of Hawaii. RCI also has the same week available on their website. I can give Platiunum my studio week and exchange for $129.00, or I can pay RCI $99 to combine my weeks with them plus $189. exchange fee for the same week at the same resort. So thats a no brainer that if I take this week I would go thru Platinum Exchange. Reviews say its old and outdated but clean with very small units. A studio for 4 for the week there would be OK since it will just be me and DH. My question is should I take the week at this resort or wait and see if something better becomes available.

It is in the Royal Kuhio Building

the suites aren't that small, according to VI who has units there also they around 450 sq ft. about 3 times the size of a Motel 6, and they have a kitchen.
What else would you be waiting for? The Imperial units are that small, the Kuhio Banyon are smaller. If it is just the two of you you should be fine imho,
