Does anyone know what the maintenance fee for a converted Wyndham Bali Hai 1-bedroom Upper Level (231,000pts) should be? The seller is saying they pay $1500/yr but that seems rather high.

Thanks!

Should be about $1000.

I have a 231k odd converted fixed week and I just looked at the MF for 2020 and it was $485. So double that. I don't think that the converted week will be at standard MF rate of a UDI, which will be $3.77/k in 2020.

First of all, thanks to both GrammarHero and bendadin for responding. You have confirmed what I thought - the maintenance fees should total around $1000-1100. The weird thing is that the sellers showed me both 1) the document they signed when they converted the ownership to points showing it is worth 231,000 points and 2) a receipt showing a recent monthly maintenance fee payment of $125.04 (=$1500). So something is wrong here but I don't know what yet. Not sure if I should continue the purchase or not.

Something is amiss. To sort it out ask for a copy of the Annual Club Wyndham Assessment Summary which lists the points and HOA fees.. The seller should be able to provide it just by accessing their account online.

I think it must be some converted week, which went well above the $3.77/1k for some reason.

Did someone ever solve the issue regarding a Bali Hai maintenance fee that doesnt seem to align in this case 2 Bedroom for $1500 Even years.

Of course I wouldnt move forward with the purchase but maybe the owner can get this corrected.

Are you certain this in a Wyndham bill from Wyndham for Bali Hai?, I don't see any header information.. I'm not sure from this document what it is you could be buying.

( AOAO fees - (also know as maintenance, strata or HOA fees) are a part of condominium life. AOAO which stands for Association of Apartment Owners.)

It should be $7.05/$1,000 points with program fee included for 2024 fees. Don't know about 2025. Higher per 1,000 MF's than the bigger units, but still a decent value. We own an identical contract but in odd years.
